About Bangsaphan

Bangsaphan is an idyllic tropical getaway on the gulf of of Thailand, it is 400km south of Bangkok and easily accessible by train and bus. Blessed with empty beaches, quiet roads and good weather Bangsaphan offers a peaceful holiday for those that want to escape the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin, Phuket or Koh Samui.

Bangsaphan has islands, miles of empty beaches, waterfalls, temples, caves, local markets, beach restaurants and natural surroundings teeming with wildlife.

Koh Talu (pictured right) can be reached in 20 minutes by boat where you can snorkel or scuba dive amongst the first coral reefs south of Bangkok. There are also two smaller islands Koh Sing and Koh Sang where there is also good coral and plenty of marine life.

Around the coast are the pristine beaches of Ban Krut to the north and Bang Berd to the south, more information on Ban Krut can be found here: Ban Krut.

saikuFurther inland are a couple of local waterfalls, Sai Ku (pictured left) being the most impressive. Chai Rat waterfall just south of Bangsaphan Noi offers a scenic restaurant and swimming hole.

Tum Marong cave and temple is a must visit when in the area, it is only a couple of kilometers from the resort.
